Our Private Dining Room accommodates up to 26 guests seated, while the bar area accommodates up to 50 standing or 20 seated. The main dining room has a capacity of 50 seated guests or 100 standing. We offer custom menus, impeccable service, and a Mediterranean inspired dining experience tailored to your needs. Guests are welcome to bring decorative props such as flowers and vases. Please note that balloons and large signage are only permitted for a full restaurant or private dining room buyout.

Yes, River Club offers outdoor patio seating, available seasonally and weather dependent. Patio seating is first come first served; no reservations are accepted for the patio. Our Georgetown Waterfront location makes patio dining especially scenic, and happy hour is also available on the patio Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

A 4% surcharge is applied to all checks to help offset the rising and often volatile costs of operating a restaurant in Washington, DC., including wages, benefits, supplier tariffs, and regulatory compliance. A 24% gratuity is applied to all private events. For general dining, a 20% automatic gratuity is added to parties of 6 or more guests.

Outside food and beverages are not permitted, with the exception of celebration cakes, subject to a cake-cutting fee of $8 per guest. Guests are welcome to bring their own wine; a corkage fee applies: $50 per standard 750ml bottle, $95 for large-format bottles.

River Club takes its name from an old Georgetown establishment, not from its proximity to the water. While we don’t have a direct view of the Potomac, we are a few steps from the Georgetown Waterfront and the river.
